About Society Against Sexual Violence in Conflict e.V.
Society Against Sexual Violence in Conflict e.V. (SASVIC) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to raising global awareness about conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV). Founded in Berlin on June 21, 2024, and registered on July 12, 2024, the organisation focuses on community-driven, inclusive approaches to address this international critical issue.
SASVIC is a non-partisan association committed to promoting public art that addresses conflict-related sexual violence in a way that is universal, survivor-centred, and free from fragmented or nationally confined narratives. The association was established to support the exhibition of artworks and monuments that draw global attention on the devastating impact of sexual violence in conflict and that amplify the voices of survivor groups from diverse regions and conflicts.
The exhibits are intended to serve as tools for education, advocacy, empowerment, and remembrance.
